Jesus’ gift of His Body and Blood is what connects us to His paschal mystery. This should never be mocked, but always celebrated and adored.

While some people get zapped into faith by God, most people follow the slow and steady path of daily discipleship in Jesus to grow in holiness and peace. Keep up the everyday journey and you will find the fulness of peace in Christ.

Blaming our mistakes on others doesn’t bring healing; in fact, it only makes matters worse. Take responsibility for your sins and ask for forgiveness, and you will be respected and find peace.

By receiving the Flesh and Blood of Jesus, we become part of God Himself!

I already posted my other homily for the Seventh Sunday of Easter, but this is the homily and May crowing from our Children’s Liturgy, and there was one little girl there that was like Lou Costello, injecting comments and giving me a run for my money. She was adorable, and you might enjoy listening to it.

Many people blame God for the evil in the world, but evil comes from the Devil and we gave our dominion over the world to him. It’s time to take it back by allowing the Father to consecrate us in the Truth – Jesus – who defeats the Devil.
