    Good morning good Father!
We have never met, but one of my nieces knew you i. Yonkers and told us all about you. For years my husband Antonio and I have looked forward to listening to your sermons online. We do it together Sunday night and it is a prayer for us! Thank you for doing it! We were wondering if you were stopping the posts? It seems like they are not here regularly any more. Any way, we wanted to thank you and encourage you. You say what everyone else is afraid to say. My niece says you used to “catch some grief” for that, but that’s what happens to God’s chosen sometimes!

    • Thank you for the compliment Annabelle! Your niece is correct that I do catch some grief from people over what I preach, but that is par for the course. It happened to Jesus too, so I’m in good company. Those who only want to hear sweet talk on Sunday or who do not agree with the Church’s teaching on any given issue get upset with me when I remind them of the truth. The fact that they’re upset tells me I’m doing something right, and my reward in heaven will be great. I once told the Cardinal that I am hated by all the right people!

I haven’t given up my posts. I was just away on my annual vacation, so I had no homily to post. I will be back in the regular swing now.

Thanks for your support. I appreciate it!

      God bless you!

      Fr. Carrozza

That’s a relief! You certainly deserve your vacation, it is important for priests to take care of themselves, especially the good priests! Yes, my niece told us you really suffered at one point in an assignment and that some silly-heads called themselves “in exile” until you left. What are some people thinking??

      • They were stuck in the ’70s and didn’t want to progress with the Church. Very sad.
