Who Needs God Anyway?

Since all churches in the Archdiocese of New York are closed at least until March 30th and there will be no homilies given, I am posting here for the next few weeks some of my talks that I placed on my podcast “We Need God.” Let’s pray for a quick end to the Corona virus and the return to health of all those affected by it.  Fr. Jesus tells us to love our enemies and pray for our persecutors. But what does it mean to love them and how do we go about it?

Don’t take a cruise ship into battle!

We frequently see our parishes as cruise ships and forget our mission to go into the world and battle the Devil and win back the people he is stealing from Christ.
