This the third entry on my podcast “We Need God.” It gives guidance to knowing how to figure out who God is and what he isn’t.
How do we know God exists?
This is my second podcast on “We Need God”. It explores ways we can know God exists and the benefit of believing in Him. I’m posting these while we still cannot have Mass due to the Corona virus. Let’s pray for all affected by it and a quick end to this pandemic!
Who Needs God Anyway?
Since all churches in the Archdiocese of New York are closed at least until March 30th and there will be no homilies given, I am posting here for the next few weeks some of my talks that I placed on my podcast “We Need God.” Let’s pray for a quick end to the Corona virus and the return to health of all those affected by it. A little break
This Sunday and next I do not have to preach at Mass. Tune in on March 22nd for my next homily.
Don’t pass the buck: accept responsibility
Lent: Let’s get it right!
It’s easy to observe Ash Wednesday and Lent and totally miss the point. We’ll discuss here what they are truly about and how to follow them with an authentic faith that makes a difference in our lives.
How do you love someone who has ruined your life?
Jesus tells us to love our enemies and pray for our persecutors. But what does it mean to love them and how do we go about it?
Be charitable – even to the uncharitable!
Winter Rest
I’m off getting some rest before Lent begins. Check back for my next homily on February 16th.

Don’t take a cruise ship into battle!
We frequently see our parishes as cruise ships and forget our mission to go into the world and battle the Devil and win back the people he is stealing from Christ.
