Healthy Body, Healthy Soul

If it’s just a piece of bread, it’s worthless!

Many Christians deny that the Eucharist is truly the body and blood of Christ. They believe it is just a piece of bread that symbolizes Jesus. I say that, if it’s just a piece of bread, it’s worthless! It has to be His Body and Blood for it to have any value at all. What benefit is there in saying the Eucharist is not the Body and Blood of Christ but just a piece of bread?

Pilgrimage Homilies
