Thank you so much for the time you spent on the Sacrament of Reconciliation. Its comforting to know that the Church’s approach to confession has mellowed. I was one of those Catholics who stayed away from the confessional for years (46) and found the courage to go after i read your Oct 21, 2012 post which I accidentally ran across, I have a parish priest who has helps make my confessions less stressful, but I never would have attempted it at all if not for your blog. You are in my prayers Father Carrozza.

    • Gee! I don’t know how to adequately thank you for what you just told me! It is without a doubt the best comment I have ever received on my blog. I am thrilled to know that my blog helped at least one person! You made my day!

Thanks for your prayers! I will certainly keep you in mine!

Glad I could make your day. I have always been a member of my church, but Its been just a little over a year since I went back to Confession. I will tell you , every trip to the confessional is a test of my courage still. There are some days when i sit in church for an hour before I can enter the confessional. I keep going though and leave with such a sense of peace and relief that i pray someday the anxiety will just disappear: maybe when I am not feeling so new at this?
pardon and peace, right? thanks again for your encouragement through your blog.

  2. My pleasure! You may also just tell people to watch the video!
