Thank you so much for the time you spent on the Sacrament of Reconciliation. Its comforting to know that the Church’s approach to confession has mellowed. I was one of those Catholics who stayed away from the confessional for years (46) and found the courage to go after i read your Oct 21, 2012 post which I accidentally ran across, I have a parish priest who has helps make my confessions less stressful, but I never would have attempted it at all if not for your blog. You are in my prayers Father Carrozza.
Gee! I don’t know how to adequately thank you for what you just told me! It is without a doubt the best comment I have ever received on my blog. I am thrilled to know that my blog helped at least one person! You made my day!
Thanks for your prayers! I will certainly keep you in mine!
Fr. Carrozza
Glad I could make your day. I have always been a member of my church, but Its been just a little over a year since I went back to Confession. I will tell you , every trip to the confessional is a test of my courage still. There are some days when i sit in church for an hour before I can enter the confessional. I keep going though and leave with such a sense of peace and relief that i pray someday the anxiety will just disappear: maybe when I am not feeling so new at this?
pardon and peace, right? thanks again for your encouragement through your blog.
My pleasure! You may also just tell people to watch the video!
